So...
As you may have heard, they are including modding support after release. HOWEVER, they specifically mentioned steam.
GOG version is MUCH cheaper in my country, so I want to buy it here, but I'm wondering if that will make modding harder.

This is the latest update about the mod support state. As you can see, they have already created the proper template for the mods, but do not plan to include Steam workshop support at the release.
