As title says, the game doesn't work now. I launched the game before the patch was released and it launched in seconds, now it takes like 5 min to fill the load bar and once it's full it doesn't even go to main menu, it just stays there. All mods disabled, reinstalled the game and still doesn't work.
Edit: I saw on another forum that needed to delete the files UNDER the Unity directory on %systemdrive%\users\%username%\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous\

I have the same problem - did it helped, to delete some files?

If you use any type of mods, the game will not load, till all mods are removed, or updated to work with game version 2.0.0z

Please note:

if you are using any owlcat template mods remove them. Such as homebrew archetypes, great radiance and so on. these will no longer work with the Enhanced Edition game version 2.0.0z game code.

But beware that the game won't load your saves that were created with those mods installed, if they're no longer installed. It'll just dump you back to main menu.

You can also remove owlcatmodifications json file, but once again, this will still not allow you to use your old save games, that were saved with the mods in use. You would have to start a new game.

Only thing it does, it zooms out the camera (default FOV is very low), that is all the mods I am using.

If you are saying I should wait till they will update it to work with the current version, that´s the least I can do, since removing it would just render the saves unusable, based on what you just wrote.

That's strange as my Toybox version 1.4.17 and game version 2.0.0z are working fine with all previous saves. And that is all I have for Mods.

Do you have latest hotfix updated? The first 2.0.0z version didn't worked for me either, even with full delete and fresh install (including files in appdata), but released hotfix did fixed that.

As pen311 wrote - game will not work with any Modifications - so if you have Modifications and OwlcatModificationManagerSettings.json in your AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous, delete them. (Had to say bye to Ninja this way, best alternate class for Wolfij)

Then uninstall UnityModManager and try start. If game works, you can install UMM again and try luck with mods.

I can confirm that with the newest hotfix 2.0.0z.109, even with ToyBox installed, saves will load.

My launcher isn't detecting any hotfixes at this time. Is there any way to try to force update it other than the "check for updates" button on the launcher...?

You should have the game updated by now.
I am using offline installers though.

I have again the same problem, this time only with the Through the Ashes DLC, which I am currently playing.
The main campaign loads normally, I haven´t tried the IE DLC or the MI, I am not that far in the story.

A similar issue is happening to me. I can load saves from the main campaign but not my current playthrough of Inevitable Excess. I cannot even start a new game for the DLC. It goes to an endless load screen after character creation/import. The interesting thing is that I had this issue since the EE update but it was fixed after the 2.0.1.d update. Now after the 2.0.1.e update the problem is back.

For the record, I do not use any mods and have never even had any mods installed.

After searching the searching the Steam forums and reddit for solutions I found a reddit post in which the user is experiencing the same issue and traces it back to the GOG update patch. I can't actually post a link as that is apparently not allowed, but the title of the thread is "Anyone else getting infinite loading screens with Treasure of the Midnight Isles content since the Enhanced Edition". You can search for it and read for yourself. It makes sense that it is an issue specific to GOG offline installers as there is no indication that anyone on the Steam forums are experiencing this problem.

I think the issue is that GOG has messed up the offline installers for the updates. And since this has happened more than once it is likely to happen again. The next thing I want to try is do a full uninstall and reinstall. I'm just loathe to spend the dime downloading all the installers and the time to re-install everything.

GOG please fix your patches!

I can confirm that a complete uninstall then re-install of the game + all the DLC fixed the issue for me. I am now able to load my DLC saves again. This is really aggravating. I hope I don't have to do this every time a new patch is released.

I can confirm the same, even with ToyBox installed, after complete reinstall of everything, game is working and I can load the saves.
