Good gane design = I wonder if this will work.... and it works even better than you thought. So about that dog in the keep....
Worth it to do a run through on normal stacking high perception so as not to miss anything. Suggested party:
MC: precon paladin (starts with all three archery feats, perfect stats) with one level of Scaled Fist Monk and the rest Bard to buff all those summons with Inspire courage, and get skills in Trickery, Knowledge, Persuasion, and yes Perception (take Canny Observer). He gets helm of int/wis/cha. Don't take Dazzling Display, stack skill boost feats other than manyshot. Lvl 3 spell slots = See Invis and Good Hope
Bruiser: Scaled Fist 7 (for cold iron fists), Stalwart Defender from there, goes nuts after the dog is defeated, all skill pts into persuasion for intimidation
Varn: Rogue 5, Vanguard 4 to give summons outflank if needed, study target lets Bruiser get aggro then he charges and wrecks house
Cephal: Wizard 5, Rogue 1, Arcane Trickster to give his Acid Arrows some oomph, make perception a class skill
Gekkor: Cleric 6, Sacred Huntmaster 3 - makes Elk a monster (again with outflank) helps boost perception and initiative
Tehara: Ranger 7 (to get barkskin for elk), fighter 2 for extra feats (falcata)
Freebooters Bond before every fight and flank away!
