Something I've noticed a lot of cRPGs do, even back in the original Baldur's Gate, is they'll have the portraits of in-game NPCs available to pick for your player character during character creation. This has never made any sense to me. It essentially gives you an identical twin in the game, and no one (in-game) has anything to say about it. Why they even give those portraits as options is something very confusing to me.
Anyway, I don't know if it's possible, but what I would like to do is remove the portraits of NPCs from the available options on the Choose Portrait screen when creating a custom character. I'd like there to be only non-NPC portraits and the custom portraits that I choose to have available there.
So Tl;dr: Is there anything I can do to make it so that only the stock PC portraits, and custom portraits that I want, are available and displayed on the Choose Portrait screen during character creation?
My OCD would be grateful for any insight! XD
P.S. I'm sorry if the answer to this question already exists somewhere. If it does, then I've just had difficulty locating it.
