Hi,
I have some problems to start the game.
I updated direct X, reinstalled the game, updated driver for the graphic card, did all other steps, that are listed in the Help.

My system:
Ryzen 1700@stock
32GB RAM@stock
1080ti @Stock
Game is installed on a SSD, OS is installed on a separte SSD.
OS: Win 10 pro, all updated installed.

I tried all versions ,that were available til now.
No version was runnable til now.

I checked C:\Users\<user>\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Kingmaker and C:/Users/<user>/AppData/Local/Temp/Owlcat Games/Pathfinder Kingmaker/Crashes

Within C:\Users\<user>\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Kingmaker i only have a folder "Saved Games", that is empty.
Within C:/Users/<user>/AppData/Local/Temp/ I have no folder called Owlcat Games.

Any ideas or suggestions?

have you installed it manually or via galaxy?

with galaxy it should run.
but be warned, the later chapters are still kinda bugged.
I use galaxy.
But I can´t run the game.

i do not have win 10. but could it be, that you must give it admin rights first? Some other games had this problem in win10. (rightclick on .exe: admin)

No. I run Win 10 and no such rights are given to ANY game so long as your user account has admin rights. If the account is restricted, that's different.
I start the game in galaxy.
Nothing else happens.
In the task manager there is a entry listed under gog galaxy 32 bit named "kingmaker" with a RAM-usage of 2 MB and Thats it, nothing else.

You should open a support ticket.
Your anti-virus might be sniping the game as it's booting up. Have you checked if your anti-virus allows the game to run?
I chekced this.

I added an exclusion for kingmaker, but still no change.
I deactivated the scanner, but stimll the does not start.

Try this:
1. Restart your PC (just in case if there was a hidden process running in the background)
2. Exit GOG Galaxy completely ( if its set to autostart with windows)
3. Go to Pathfinder install folder
4. Locate Kingmaker.exe and run it from there (without launching GOG Galaxy)

i checked steam for similar issues:

https://steamcommunity.com/app/640820/discussions/0/1735467426090903933/

And there they say, that because of the latest windows update, whoever has this update, has problems to run the game.

Edit: and there was some other post here, where the problem was because of some mistake in an unity update.
I cannot find it now, but he posted a link to the unity forum:

so far I tried all suggested solutions beside a reinstall of windows.

Any further sugestions?

Still the game does not run in nay way.
All I get is a task in the taskmanager using 2 mb RAM / 6 mb RAM when using windows 7 compatibility.

So far, no version of the game was working in any way. :(
