I want to leave this tip for Painkiller Black Edition...

This is a great fix! I was having slowness problems on a machine with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits, and by installing this patch (unofficial) the slowness was resolved and other minor errors (the famous APPCRASH) were also fixed. Getting straight to the point, download the version "Randomguy7s_Painkiller_Fix_Compilation_v4.4.zip" (latest to date) and unzip it in the game's root directory.

If you happen to face problems with the compilation, try this other patch, it has fewer "quality of life" additions, but in terms of bug fixes and other fixes regarding technical issues, he it is also very complete. =)
