Just installed Outlast from the GOG download. This appeared to go find although I was surprised to see it installed AMD drivers among other unexpected things...???
Anyway, when I start the game I'm prompted to allow use of the network for a) private LAN or b) public. I choose to run this without any network connection so I'm stumped. I don't recall a Network being required, but may have missed something. Also, the resulting game window is completely black, including the window frame (the window is sized to the default/initial game resolution I suspect).

Any words of knowledge anyone?

<edit>Don't know what happened, but it's all working now. I started the game up again to review the network prompt and there wasn't any. Game started up just fine. Now to get my fright on!</edit>
