Ok I'm writing here as a last resort. I used to love this game years ago when i played it so i bought it here on GoG. However I have stumbled upon a Bug that stopped me from progressing. I had 1 of the three Idols and while trying to figure out what to do with it I stuck it into one of the temples. Nothing happened so i just left it there and went on doing something different. At some point i saved and closed the game. After loading in again i found out about the stones and remembering I stuck one of them into the temple, I ran to get it. it wasn't there anymore...

It appears that when you place one of the idols in one of the temples and close the game in between, the key gets "deleted" from the game (I tested this with 1 other key)

Am i screwed? Or is there a possibility to get the key back through a cheat or something :(

I really am sad about this because I already don't have that much time to play games and I already played quite a bit on that save.

Sadly I don't know of a way around this, but you might try asking over at the Steam forums for Outcast 1.1. The developers seem to post there fairly often and may be able to help you out:

Also, you could try checking the warehouses where you originally found the keys and see if they've reverted to their original positions. Maybe it's as simple as having to go get them again!
Hi thanks for the response I'll check it out.

Also I already tried that

It's a common (though a minor) bug with all keys that can be inserted somewhere - they seem to disappear from their place between game loads. They are still there though, just invisible. Press your Use button ('E' by default) and Cutter will miraculously get the key out of the keyhole.
