Near the beginning as you are possessing Kay'l and meet Telis at his apartment, you can sleep with her. But you're not really Kay'l, just a spirit possessing his body and controlling him. You don't even have access to his memories. Do you know what that adds up to?

Rape by deception.

Despite the fantastical trappings, that's what this amounts to legally (and I would say morally).

There used to be a mod, years ago, that had many of the characters appearing naked. Omikron is a naughty boy.
I realized that too, and this makes the scene and your role/decision in it quite unsettling.
I've read an interview somewhere, where one of the designers said this was done on purpose to make you think about your role and its implications, however virtual your identity is. That is, even if you play "yourself" as a virtual entity and should not be worried about that, your presence as an individual do have an impact. It was something like that.

Good, I much prefer that to the developers including a sex scene just for titillation value and not thinking the implications through.
I bet David Cage himself didn't put that much thought into it. Hence the awful missionary sex simulation in Fahrenheit.

I might start respecting him when he stops making five-hour CGI movies and pretending they are games.

So unlikely. More money will make him buy more Hollywood actors, that is all that's going to happen
