Can anyone tell me how I can confirm that this patch has actually been applied to my Obduction game installed by GOG in C:\GOG Games\Obduction?? When I check the file dates of all the Obduction folders and programs, none of them show a date later than 8/25/16. The latest CHANGELOG that appears in my Galaxy library is dated 9/8/16 (attached). Attached are some screenshots including one of file properties of one called C:\GOG Games\Obduction\Engine\Build\Build Version that clearly shows a creation date of 8/25/16. Can someone in GOG support please answer this?? How can I check that the hotfix has actually been applied (there is nowhere within the Obduction game that gives any version information).

Thanks to all :)

Galaxy says you have v1.01 so it's normally updated.

It you are not sure, launch a verify in galaxy. It will check all files and redownload the files that are not corresponding with v1.01.
The offline version doesn't have those details, but the Build info shown is the Engine version not the game.

You can look in the registry for the game info, for Obduction it's:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\GOG.com\Games\2003665371]
"PATH"="D:\\Obduction\\Obduction (GOG)"
"GAMENAME"="Obduction"
"STARTMENULINK"="D:\\SystemData\\ProgramData\\Microsoft\\Windows\\Start Menu\\Programs\\GOG.com\\Obduction\\Obduction"
"GOGGAMEDLL"="goggame-2003665371.dll"
"GUID"="{4E621CB3-D351-4EFD-9FB8-4F5EC5335433}"
"BUILD"="5"
"STARTMENU"="Obduction"
"gameID"="2003665371"
"uninstallCommand"="D:\\Obduction\\Obduction (GOG)\\unins000.exe"
"DEPENDSON"=""
"DLC"=""
"INSTALLDATE"="2016-09-09 23:45:41"
"VER"="2.2.0.5"
"SUPPORTLINK"="obduction"
"LANGUAGE"="english"
"SAVEGAMEFOLDER"="D:\\Obduction\\Obduction (GOG)\\"
"LAUNCHPARAM"=""
"LAUNCHCOMMAND"="D:\\Obduction\\Obduction (GOG)\\Obduction.exe "
"EXE"="D:\\Obduction\\Obduction (GOG)\\Obduction.exe"
"EXEFILE"="Obduction.exe"
"WORKINGDIR"="D:\\Obduction\\Obduction (GOG)\\"

This is the version it says is installed
"VER"="2.2.0.5"

Which matches the GOG installer version
setup_obduction_2.2.0.5.exe

The download page brings the two version systems together:
Obduction 1.01 (gog-5)
which means
Game v1.01 (GOG v5 or v2.2.0.5)
It's a little confusing, but comes from GOG's need to make and pack their own installers, for what are basically unpacked client based game setups, or old games repacked from source files.
Thanks to both replies. Both were extremely helpful. I ran a Verify in GOG Galaxy on my Obduction which indicated everything locally was up-to-date, as expected. I then checked the registry which did indeed show 'VER=2.2.0.5' which confirms the GOG update. Just curious where I can find the actual GOG installer 'setup_obduction_2.2.0.5.exe' file to crosscheck and verify?

Great feedback. Thanks again!

Steve
Never mind! I found where the new files are stored when I forced a backup download of Obduction 1.01 (gog-5) 5.1 GB in Galaxy:

C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\!Downloads\obduction

I found the setup_obduction_2.2.0.5 .exe and .bin files in this folder.

Thanks again for your kind responses!

Steve
