New computer bought to run Obduction - windows 10 installed, updated - and Obduction require DirectX Runtime - HELP!

For anyone else that does not have a stand alone graphics card the solution can be found at Microsoft.

the "DirectX runtime end user" package has to be requested as a download - then it wakes up DirectX and I will now spend the Autumn playing Obduction.

I recently upgraded to Windows 10, so should have all the right DirectX components. I checked out the DirectX end-user tip given here and what I found looked like it was for older versions of Windows. Can you say more?

Thanks!
If you have Windows 10, be sure and retrieve this package for the DX 9.0c runtime:

It coexists perfectly with the newer DX versions that are standard in Win10. Indeed, anyone running Win7/8 or 10 should have this package installed, especially if you enjoy playing older games.
