I am trying to move the lens which reattaches the moving machinary parts. I cannot get the lever over the lens to move in order to focus on different parts. Have I missed doing something? I have the machinary working. Cannot think of what else to do here. Please someone help!!!!

When you go up the steps to the lens, are you clicking on the lens when you get to the top? Doing so will cause your view to focus in on whichever piston the lens last connected, and then you should be able to interact with the control to either connect or disconnect the piston.

Thank you FrogStone. I have approached the device and am able to move the lever forward. It connected the piston in the view finder. However I annot move the lever across to change the view so that I can connect the other pistons. I have Windows 10 and have had no trouble with this game so far. I have spent ages trying to work this. I have come to the conclusion that it is a glych in the game. Very frustrating! I have now uninstalled the game and will have to start again. Any advice would be welcome.

Are you playing on a Mac or a PC?

What interface are you using? Mouse and Keyboard, or a trackpad?

We can tell you, that rusty in-game tech takes some patience and sometimes a little (sometimes a lot of) repeated manipultaion to get moving the right way.

Before you uninstall next time, please ask for help here, or email support@cyan.com directly.

I am using a PC - Windows 10 and a mouse. So far no problems with the game. I am not an expert gamer and certainly no a computer expert!! Perhaps I will try the keyboard. Thanks for your help, Frogstone.
I think the problem could be the mouse. I have tried altering the mouse sensibility. Also reducing the graphics and resolution - as per advice on a Cyan forum. Nothing so far has worked. The mouse freezes when it gets to the three arrows. I also tried using free roaming. No luck. So frustrating!!!!!
i HAVE SOLVED IT!!!!! At last. I held the mouse on one of the arrows and wiggled it around a bit. The lever moved. Hooray!!!!

Glad to hear it, Mary! We'll close out your Support email, then, too. Enjoy the game!
