There's a cliff edge, near the junk yard, where you can use the mine cart laser to destroy a blocked entrance below. The entrance is next to the river. Where does that unblocked entrance lead to and how do you get down there.


That entrance is accessed along the opposite side of the river due south from the propeller bridge. In that small cave is a switching device useful in the game.
