So I know my PC is old. I'm planning on building a new rig and was wondering if this should be enough for NMS and hopefully for the next few years of gaming:

CPU: AMD FX-8300
RAM: 16GB DDR3 1600
Video Card: Radeon RX 470 4GB
PSU: 750W 80-Gold Rated

I don't think so it's poorly optimized and fails miserably to run even on more powerful rigs. Basically it's like a lottery, good luck!

I am not sure how powerful your rig is, I don't follow gaming performance hardware that much.
All I can say is that with my
i7 4710HQ, 980M, 32GB RAM, the game is very fluid. I didn't try to measure the framerate but it is easily around 60, the least.

Go by what NMS requires to play anything else anyone tells you will be superficial. The game is very hardware specific, you must have a gpu that supports GL 4.5 model and 8 gigs of ram or more.

Intel processors at the moment only have a fix for SSE on Steam.
