I could be talking about the 1200 Quicksilver I didn't receive because when I returned to the anomaly after a mission I got caught by a landing glitch and was forced to return to an earlier save point to resolve it only to discover that the Nexus didn't offer me another 1200 quicksilver task but no I'm going to ask this question instead..

... Where is the alien visage I just paid 3200 quicksilver for???

I did previously buy a helmet and that was added to the appearance modifier options no problem. I assumed the visage would also be available in the appearance modifier under Helmets but it isn't there. I've tried every one. I've also tried being different races while looking at the helmets. Still no luck. If I go to the Quicksilver shop it definitely says I own the visage and my account is less 3200 quicksilver. Is there bug here or is there something about visages I don't know?

I am not sure exactly when the missions load when entering the Nexus but if the Discovery Servers show as not being online the missions, Helios interaction, etc., do not load. My way around that on a temporary basis is to leave the game running, disconnect from the Internet for a few seconds and then reconnect. About 3-5 seconds later the missions are populated, Helios updated, etc. This typically allows at least a brief connection to the Discovery Servers and the information loads. Please also note that connection to the Discovery Servers can rapidly change without any indication.

What race did you select? I have read that to use one of the visages you must first select traveler and It appears that if you change the race then you might lose the visage until you again are a traveler.

EDIT - I just tested the visage thing and the options to select various visages are enable after changing the race. Just mouse over the numbers under Head to highlight the name of what you can select.

EDIT 2 - Have read elsewhere that someone built a trap at the site of Nada's contact. Strongly suggest disabling multiplayer after getting the mission.

I did try them all including Traveller but perhaps it wasn't actually applied...? I'll try again. Thought I was a Traveller to begin with. Thanks Chewy etc.

20 mins later I can confirm that yes you have to be a Traveller. I wasn't a Traveller when I first bought the visage I was an Anomaly. Thanks again Chewy.
