Where do you get AntiMatter? I haven't seen it for sale or been able to make it. I might be stuck in the system I started in.

If you follow the story it will give you the antimatter for free as a quest reward. I even bought an item off the market to try to make it myself but then I talked to the guy for my quest and he gave it to me.
Quest? I have no idea want that is. I had a hard enough time just starting the game since there isn't even a readme file. You game the and zero information. And I watched a lot of You Tube videos of PS4 players playing. So far I got 4 AntiMatter by asking NPC's when they land if they will sell any. But yeah, I have no idea what the "Quest" is. Unless your talking about going to the center of the galaxy, Also I started in a 2 planet system what "story" am I supposed to follow there. It was more like, "try to get the hell out" that was my story.

I wasn't so lucky and I had to buy one myself (I think I picked the wrong answer in dialogue :P )

When you start by your ship there is a kind of container with Atlas creature right next to it. Like red orb thingy you can interact with. It will ask you if you'll accept its guidance or not. If not the you are on your own if yes then it works like a tutorial for a game giving you directions what to do next. I think that is the "story" of this game.

Yeah that was likely it, since I didn't know what was going on of course I answered "yes" I would like guidance (tutorial).

If you answered "no", that means you wanted no help and wanted to figure it all out on your own.
Yea, there`s a very `lite` quest that basically jumps you off into the game. Normally, I`d take `No.` but for a first time I thought `yes` might be wiser until I`m familiarised with the game. I`m quite familiar with it now and the story line really isn`t much. I`d say it`s a `guideline`.

You can buy antimatter from space stations or just asking aliens you meet. If an alien ship is near you, you can go up to them and see if they have any they want to sell.

Yeah I did that I accepted Atlas's guidance, so I guess I am on a "Quest" as justporter put it. I am like you I picked the wrong answer and now might be stuck. For that according to justporter I am a fool.

Oh, BTW, Thanks for answer, it helps.
I was able to start the "story" but after I went to the first space station, there was no indication that I had to go back to the NPC who gave me the Hyperdrive blueprint. I had to go online to find that out. Very frustrating to have to go online to find out basic information when the game crashes when minimized. Luckily I found out running the game in borderless window mode stops the crashing.
If you find a manufacturing facility that you have to break into, you can find blueprints in there: the first two you receive SHOULD be antimatter and suspension fluid (which is a component of a component you need to make antimatter).

Thanks Chris. I saw a couple of buildings with locked doors but I didn't want to attempt to break into them because I thought there might be a nicer way of getting in. Is shooting through the doors the only way to get into these places? I don't have any powerful upgrades and I don't want to get killed by sentinels.

if you don't have the boltcaster, the only way in is to bash the door down. You'll find suprises in there... IF you pick the right one and while bashing expect sentinels to attack you ~4-5 times until the door is down.
The tutorial tells you shoot them, so I don't know if there's another way. I got through the first one by shooting the door a bit, running back to the ship and circling the area until the sentinels forgot about me, and then coming back two or three times. The second time I just took the door down as far as I could before they started shooting me, blew them all up, went back to the door and managed to get it open and inside before they started shooting me again (they don't track you inside buildings).

The third time they killed me because I ran out of ammo :P. But I always go to the save point before doing anything at a site, so recovering my inventory wasn't a problem.

All right. I'll use the Boltcaster.

I must've missed that tutorial message. I'll give it a try, thanks.
I think just about every pilot I talked to sold Anti matter. You use the D and A keys to scroll through the pages of stuff for sale.

Edit: that seemed to be a one time thing now no one has them. Hopefully they'll be up for sale again or I'll find the blueprints for making it.
For those of you trying to get through the locked steel doors use grenades then dash in and you wont even have to fight the sentinels.
