I've been having problems with cloud save for like a month now. It keeps saying 'heavy load'.
Still having server issues whenever I try to play. It also doesn't let me delete my saves because it won't sync properly I guess.

Suggest that you contact GOG support by submitting a ticket. Also note that No Man's Sky seems to have problems with cloud saves on Steam but it is unclear if these are Steam problems or No Man's Sky problems or a combination.
