Just a Suggestion to the Devs, to increase the potential value of the Field Of View...

In most games, I have to set the FOV to about 90 or higher, otherwise I experience dizzy-ness (a type of motion sickness). I have seen a lot of people with this in forums, and adjusting the FOV usually alleviates it.

However, even at the current maximum setting ("100"), there is still a slight nausea experienced.

Doing some testing running around and moving quickly, it seems that this game's "100 degrees" is not the same as a setting of "100 degrees" in other games. I have seen this noted somewhere else by others, as well (perhaps this is something related to the game engine rendering?).

Therefore, just a Suggestion that allowing a higher value (with a warning that it may affect performance?) for the FOV, would be an asset to the game and allow many users to play without experiencing negative effects.

Enjoying the game otherwise - I only purchased it recently (so I did not experience the many things others have mentioned) - I am finding it wonderfully enjoyable... keep up the great work!
Sorry to 'bump' my own post, but if I may pop back in, just to update:

I was looking around for a potential configuration/initialization file to edit (suggested by user EvilDastard), to alter the FOV value - and I found it at this location:

>GOG GALAXY INSTALLATION FOLDER\Games\No Man's Sky\Binaries\SETTINGS

In a file called:

TKGRAPHICSSETTINGS.MXML

There are entires that look like:

Property name="FoVOnFoot" value="ZZ.000000"
Property name="FoVInShip" value="ZZ.000000"

Simply open the file with Notepad or similar Text Editing program and change the "ZZ" values (shown just above) to what you find works for you (most likely different for most people).
I am currently trying 120'ish and seeing how it goes.

Sharing this information here as an 'update', in case it helps anyone!

P.S.
Devs - it would still be a nice idea (imo) to add an increased value for the FOV in-game ;)
