Every time I try to start the new Leviathan expedition, it just shows a greyed out picture of the previous Blighted expedition, with "Expedition Complete" message. I've done research on here and the web, and have tried a lot of stuff, including :-

:- Deleting cache from NMS/DefaultUser/Cache - This just causes the message to change to an endless "Attempting to connect"

:- Verifying/Repairing game files.

:- Uninstalling NMS and GOG, reinstalling fresh.

:- Running GOG and NMS from a shortcut as administrator.

:- Changing date forward and backwards.

I successfully completed the last two expeditions. The game saves are still listed as "Community Expedition". I tried going into each one and saving them again to turn them into Normal saves, that still didn't help.

I'm really at a loss as to why I can't get this working. Does anyone have any advice that can help, I would appreciate any input, maybe the solution is staring me in the face I don't know!

I'm using Windows 10 and play NMS through GOG.com. I can confirm my NMS has been updated to the very latest patch.

i know this will sound daft but have you tried starting a brand new game?

have you updated through Galaxy ?

version 3.91 is available offline and online so that might help

I have tried starting a new game, and updated through GOG Galaxy to the very latest update today. Still no joy - very confused! I had no problem starting the last two expeditions, can't think what it could be....

seems to be a common problem. i've contacted GOG but no response so far.

Yeah I've sent a report. I notice in my normal save when I select NETWORK it comes up with the old chestnut "No Connection to Matchmaking services". That explains why the Expedition isn't showing, but how to fix.. no idea.

Same issue here too, no way to start new expedition and matchmaking greyed out. its NOT my network or computer as my PS5 and PS4 can both play it fine and i even with a fully disabled firewall it doesn't work.

This is 100% confirmed GOG only issue.

in general, this whole idea with the output of game events, such as expeditions, with new updates, is one big stupidity; you can't tie a game event to a specific time, people buy the game for specific money and this price is the same for everyone; then why do some have the right to achieve expeditions, and who did not have time to fulfill them, such rights are denied; expeditions, as a game event, should be available to everyone as an integral part of the game; the best option is to place their launch in the NEXUS

because of the strange implementation mechanism, strange consequences happen

I already wrote once to HELLO GAMES about the strange organization of expeditions and made technical suggestions to them, but there was no reaction

Hope the developers make the expeditions a part of the base game and of course for Offline single play.

Why bother making content that can only be used for a few weeks?? Makes no sense.
