I play NMS offline due to my rural location and spotty satellite internet, but I have recently made what I think is a really cool discovery, and wanted to upload it but was not sure how.

I stumbled across a planet in "Free explore mode" that only has 2 species of life forms, the reason I think it is so cool is that since I've been playing NMS since pre-order I have never seen anything like this.

Android animal lifeforms, totally synthetic. I play offline so I was not entirely sure if I was the first to discover them.

Cool creatures! It would be necessary to connect to the HG servers to upload. But maybe a screenshot thread here?

Found in the type of systems that many players do not visit.

Robotic fauna was added over a year ago. The release notes for Origins have a line
"Wild Robots
Rare uncharted planets are now home to synthetic creatures, wandering wild across terrain on metallic legs."

The "rare uncharted planets' are found in uncharted systems. These are systems that do not have space stations, Race in the Galactic Pap will be "Data Unavailable" and when entering the Dominant Lifeform is shown as "Uncharted"

As I recall the ability to adopt these was added several months later. These do not accept Creature Pellets but will take Ion Batteries and can be adopted as a pet/companion and are supposed to produce Chewy Wires.

I went ahead and added two screenshots to my initial post
