While in creative mode placing pads with vehicles on the ground works fine, when you delete the pad you just placed you can't get rid of the vehicle(s) as their two separate objects. When you get into your vehicle then around a bit, eventually it will glitch and you end up clipping through the terrain. When you get out of your vehicle it stays clipped to the terrain.
