Since the last (?) update I have noticed that the mini-quiz at some planet-side terminals no longer requires solving a numeric series (e.g., 4 11 32 95 ...) but are always the rather lame 5214 4521 1452 ... type.

Is that just my bad luck? The numeric series are kind of fun; they're not that hard to solve but do require paying attention. The reordering type probably does weed out those who are too zonked to find the keyboard, I guess.

Anyone on the 1.38 patch still getting the good ones?
I am getting the normal distribution. It would be nice if they increased the number and variety of these puzzles.

EDIT: Forgot to note that I am using 1.38. No mods except for C.S.S. for spot use of Atlas and MoarExotics which are only loaded when I am looking for a replacement starship.

Yes, no change here in 1.38
I believe the numeric series quiz appears only when a crashed ship or freighter will be located.
The "lame" quiz is the one for all other places that are discovered.

Ahh... could be! I didn't make that correlation. I've since seen a grand total of ONE series quiz and it was an easy one (something like 4 11 32 95 ...) so I'm still kind of bummed. ;-)
