Hello,

Starting today, there should be different drops for No Man's Sky on Twitch again.
See here: https://twitch.nomanssky.com/

Why can't Twitch account be connected with GOG account?

mhmmm :(

GOG users have never been considered worthy. I have submitted support requests both to GOG and Hello Games and the GOG response has been to say that this is not entirely GOG's decision.

Most of the items serve no useful purpose but the only way for GOG users to get these is to use a save editor.

Thank you for your reply and the information about Save Game Editor. Maybe I'll use the save game editor later if I can find it. Let's see ... I'm not quite sure yet. Thanks again!

https://github.com/goatfungus/NMSSaveEditor - this hasn't been updated yet for the recent pirates downgrade but was updated through version 3.85. You do not have to use the most recent version but older versions will not have items recently added to the game.

You also have to have Java installed to run Goatfungus' editor.

There is another save editor but it has not been around for as long. Never used it so I do not know if it requires Java, etc.

Thank you! I have found both. The editor of goatfungus seems to be not up-to-date. The other editor is called NomNom and it is available on Nexusmods.com and github.com. I will try both editors this weekend. Of course, I will make a backup of my game saves. :)

Thanks again and happy Easter.

There was also a way to do it without a save game editor, just a text editor and knowing the required strings to add (from a steam account that had already completed the expedition, I assume), I'm trying to see if that is still valid.

Basically it was just editing an XML file in the game directory (GOG Galaxy\Games\No Man's Sky\Binaries\SETTINGS\GCUSERSETTINGSDATA.MXML) and adding a record like <Property name="UnlockedSeasonRewards" value="EXPD_BANNER04" />
