Ryuubei: Yup you do. Galaxy is more and more becoming DRM
wizisi2k: Actually, you don't. First game I played I went online using the steam overlay launching the game. Norton prompted to allow AV to block the game (I set to allow always). Recognized my username online. Right now I am connected to online services while not playing through galaxy
I did not install this game with Galaxy and yet I am playing the game. I brought up Galaxy and it says the game is not installed (though it is outside of Galaxy). I am also still online and connected in the game itself when I have Galaxy and the game running (Galaxy MUST run in the background).
So - how to have another game and user on the same account? Install again without Galaxy to a different directory (if on the same computer). Create a GOG account separately (if you haven't already). Run game and it'll start fresh, then run Galaxy as that user (you may have to log out and log in as the other user if on the same computer) and it'll run as that user. Problem solved. No DRM upset and you and your significant other can play to your hearts content. :)
