hello everyone,

I recently purchased No Mans Sky from the gog exclusive discount. I have not launched the game yet but had some questions because one of my friends has the game on Steam. I did read underneath the system requirements that it is cross-platform but only when you have access to GOG Galaxy for Online Multiplayer. I realized I can use the advantage of the DRM Free part in NMS and give it to other friends that don't have the game. Can it be possible to play NMS by creating a GOG account and using Galaxy while Galaxy scans for GOG games and we can play together or you have to own a game on GOG to access the online features on Galaxy?

I hope this is understandable.

Each person has to have their own bought copy of the game, giving someone a copy of your game is piracy.
As for the cross-platform you have to use Galaxy for multiplayer for the GOG version of the game.
