Had an Oculus Rift headset for a couple of years but for the life of me I cannot get No Man's Sky to work with it. Clicked on the No Mans sky OpenVR More option but no visuals get passed throught to the Headset, only the audio. Just displays on the PC screen. Is is perhaps that it is not supported by the original Oculus Rift or do I have to do something to get it to work. Very annoying. Amyone have any suggestions.

GoG is far too polite to tell you, that Hello Games decided to require you to be a Steam customer in order to use VR The game relies on SteamVR to be present in order to be played in VR.

Thankfully, at least for us Oculus users, some people came up with a 'hack' to make NMS work with just the OculusVR software installed:

Thanks for that, I'll try this out. As you say it's a shame that GOG do not explain this.

In case you missed this, it now works seemelessly, no 3rd party utilities needed

Please select the game in GOG GALAXY, press MORE -> Other -> No Man's Sky(OpenVR).
