I get to bases and unlock multi-tool, ship or exo-suit discoveries, yet for some reason the game has stopped updating them. If I unlock a duplicate the game tells me I have already unlocked said upgrade yet I am unable to actually use the upgrade and it doesn't appear in my list of available upgrades. Any ideas?

Edit: so it is saving upgrades, just none to my suit. Cannot add heat, cold, radiation, etc. modifications to exo-suit. Hope no one else is having this problem. Only one I've found so far besides random little ones (bases not being where waypoint directs, taking off in ship sometimes launches me out of planet's atmosphere).
