Sorry, I couldn't resist the pun. All planets can be a bit same-y but frost worlds are by far the most boring, for me. I get nothing out of exploring them. Visually they are quite dull. HG really needs to make more than three pine trees.

Most planets and lifeforms are all VERY much the same. I'd definitely like to see more diversity in plants, animals, etc.
My first "real" planet to settle on after the tutorial was a "hyperborean" one. I loved it: it had great mountains, funny creatures -- plenty of them, and nice sky colours at dawn / sunset, too. To my eyes, white planets work as a recuperation from all these stark-coloured planets we tend to settle on.
I can't just fly by a white planet -- I have to inspect it first. :)
