I have pretty limited monthly downloads on my home internet but I'm lucky enough to have a boss who doesn't mind me downloading the occasional game at work. When Endurance came out I downloaded it at work and installed it at home. There seems to be no problem it's running just fine I've got the new freighter parts etc The problem is that GOG Galaxy keeps insisting that I need to do the update through it and 12gb will pretty much wipe out the rest of my months allocation. I've updated from downloads before without problems - is this yet another aspect of the issues I mentioned here which are still ongoing? https://www.gog.com/forum/no_mans_sky/gog_galaxy_sync_not_working

I'm mostly running the game from it's icon because it seems like Galaxy is not working right. Do other people simply bypass GOG Galaxy?

The update through Galaxy was finally available for me at the time of this post and it was 1.04 GB. Last check for update in Galaxy was just two hours ago and the update was not available through Galaxy.

Something to try to get you Galaxy version synched - have you scanned for GOG games? This might re-register the game with Galaxy. Open Galaxy, click on the gear icon then Add Games & Friends and then try to either add the game manually or to scan folders for GOG games.

Re. the update - If I use the Galaxy update option it tells me the size of the files it wants to download and that size is 12gb. I just looked in the NMS folder at the GOG website for a patch file and there is now a 1gb file. That wasn't there when I downloaded the game a couple of days ago. I'll try that when it finishes downloading.

I tried the scan for games option - pointed it at the NMS folder in the Programs area, the NMS folder inside the GoG Galaxy folder and the NMS folder in the Hello Games folder in Apps/Roaming but nothing seemed to happen with any of them.

Download complete just running it now.... installed .. now trying Galaxy. It works - Great! Well done! - still not sure of the sync status at the moment.

Edit: An hour later - everything seems fine now and my games are back in sync between GoG Galaxy and my laptop games - Woohoo!
