The community as a whole have finally finished with rendezvous planet 5 and I can claim my reward but when I do immediately pops up the End of Expedition request. As soon as I click "Accept" my character has a digital stroke or something and remains stuck on the spot unable to activate anything or move while the wind still blows, the sentinels still fly and animals walk by. The only thing I can do is a forced shutdown and then when I restart I still haven't claimed the reward and I'm back to the end expedition requester. If I try to bypass it the same thing happens anyway - I can't do anything. Any one else having this problem?

edit: While I was writing the above the game was still running and my character was standing outside on the surface of the 5th planet. A storm came through and my character died of heat stroke but resporned and I was able to move again! The message - be somewhere dangerous when you claim your final reward!

GOG just now got the patch that should fix this issue, though I haven't reached far enough to test it myself yet :)

It successfully converted my expedition to a standard save.
