Its October 1st 2021, and we haven't heard a peep about DRM FREE MULTIPLAYER that was implied back in 2018.

Multiplayer is not DRM free. You need to connect to the HG servers. If they are down you can play the game but you miss the online only parts.

I've never played online and so far I've identified these things missing from the DRM multiplayer experience:

Fixed: Daily quicksilver (QS) missions. I've easily fixed this by changing one variable in my offline savefile
Fixed: Missing items from the QS store: this issue has been resolved somewhere around version 3.40
Still an issue: Expedition awards and missions: AFAIK there are no options to acquire these (yet).

I sort of figured it was DRM tied. Wish that wasn't the case though since they had mentioned it wouldn't be. Thanks again for the reply though
