ChewyWeAreNotHome: Whoever came up with the lunacy of assigning left-shift to sprint should be sentenced to life without parole was the user is already holding "w" down. I use "b" for that as it used to be called "boost."
Ahhh... That's one of the nice things about using ASDX instead of WASD. Put three fingers in a row on ASD and the little finger will fall pretty naturally over the left shift key.

It comes down to muscle memory, though, and what one is accustomed to using. I held off loading Beyond until remapping was available, just to avoid having to force myself to use WASD. ;-)
Yippieeah! They fixed it with 2.09.

Not for me though: I've got myself a programmable keyboard. ^_^

I love the way the Witcher 3 incorporated control for its sprint/sprint "turbo" mode for you when riding your horse...You hit and hold the arrow key "up" for forward, while you simultaneously hit the *right* shift once for sprint (canter) or sprint "turbo" (full gallop)...;) So easy and intuitive to do--if you are right handed, which I am--you can easily do both with the same hand. Yes, the left shift for sprinting is a tad awkward to use with the Up arrow key, most especially if while going forward in a sprint you need to hit a third key for an action in mid "sprint"...!
