i play on a laptop, so i don't have the required mouse button to drop items, can i somehow change this? i've looked in the key binding area but it doesn't provide the option

Playing this game with keyboard alone will be very difficult I guess (I don't know), but hey, just plug in a USB mouse or a trackball, that's no problem with a laptop. Beware of game controllers, not all will be compatible (read the inputs in Steam to know).
