Simply put pressing 'e' doesn't work. I can exit everything else but not the Minotaur mech. Anyone else got this? Any suggestions?

For me sometimes exiting does not work when I'm pointing at some object, which also reacts to "E" (e.g. some gatherable plant). But that shall not be happening always - you would notice that, I guess.

Other than that, maybe you have somehow the controls redefined (in the game settings)? But there are no separate settings for Minotaur. Maybe you have the "E" key mapped also to some other action, which is available for Minitaur, but not for other your crafts? (Not sure if that's possible at all)

Running mods can cause all manner of odd things, if you have any?

This thread's a little old, but I have the same problem, so thought I'd add to it.


Can't exit the da-n Minotaur. I CAN exit all the other Exocrafts.


Running NMS version "Expeditions 3.35".

Playing NMS in Survival mode, with about 200 hours in. NO MODS. Zero. Not using Galaxy (except I did, one time only, a while back to see what would be different at the Nexus - but that was probably over 100 hours ago).


Tried re-binding the ExoCraft Exit key to various different keys (and then back the the default "E"). Nope.

Tried the above in both FPV and 3PV. Nope.

Tried moving around a bit first. Jumping Jetpacking. Nope.

Just won't exit that big piece of junk.

Had to reload. Then tried the above AGAIN just in case the reload would fix it. BIG NOPE.

Had to reload again to get out. Then I deleted the Minotaur pad. Goodbye to that piece of junk.

Googled out possible solutions. Found none (but also found this thread). Maybe one of the mods would help - but I want to stay with no mods for now; so no solution there for me, at this time.

In case someone else gets the issue - they'll be able to see things that were tried. Maybe I missed something - but I had enough of that thing!

I encountered this just recently and figured out I needed to have the standard "Minotaur Laser" installed so it could be switched to and then hit exit.

If you didnt have it the exit button didn't respond properly. Hope it helps.
