Hey people just wanted to ask how do I build an Autonomous mining unit.
You need to hire npc's for your home base and go through their quest line to get the automated mining tools and they are quite a was into the quests.

I was doing that and ran into some serious problems with slotted items in my suit disappearing only to find them mounted in my ship taking up two slots and not able to be destroyed. Now I am out two slots on my ship as the ship somehow got my jetpack and hazard protection.

utter nonsense....
Great thank you for the help. Although the bug you mention is not something unexpected...
The only way I could find to remove the two suit slot upgrades, jetpack and hazard protection was to find a crashed shit with 48 slots same as mine and transfer over all I could after dissembling everything on my old ship.

Was a serious pain, I really do not know who they use for play testers or if they knew of these bugs and expect to fix them at a future date but it really does sour the milk.

I posted elsewhere that when I was fighting and defending a freighter I flew to close to the automated dock of a buy-able freighter and got pulled in right in the middle of a dogfight and then found myself trapped in the freighter listening to a alarm and unable to launch out to get back to the fight.

Some people may say I am being too critical and not grateful enough for this update, but from the first mess they released you would think they would have been extra careful.
Being the devils advocate and a software engineer I have to state that unfortunately it is very difficult to "catch" all bugs. There are too many variations for each use case especially of a game of this magnitude.
Nevertheless as a paying customer you have all the right in the world to be angry. If initially they had stated plain and clearly that the game is buggy as hell then we would have acted differently.
But again do not lose your fate. May I suggest waiting for a few days until a patch comes out and till then grind a little. At least after what you said that is how I will approach these predicaments you mentioned :-)
The game is addicting enough that it could be ten times more buggy and I think I would still struggle to play, I would also gripe and moan a equally large amount too do not doubt that.

They had a great concept in this game and has been in development as they claim for a very long time, long before the consoles they released it too even existed (PS4) shame they had to cater to the console crowd when it was a game clearly intended in the beginning for a personal computer and not the limitations of a console but sadly that seems to be the way of things these days.

I have not lost faith but the silence from HelloGames as far as things that were expected and shown in the game from their shows and trailers have tarnished their reputation and value as a game developer for me and I am sure many others.

Wonderful game concept, terrible execution and support. Some people say that the developer was not obligated to explain themselves but I do not agree. But as I have said before I am sure they at HelloGames are under the evil eye of Sony and a brutal NDA but that is just a poor explanation. Just about anyone knows that games Sony touches can turn into pure poison, Sean would have been better off and stayed away from them, again just my opinion.
