Just wanting to know, if this is it. 60 bucks for a game with only 3 unique aliens. Such a big sandbox, gazillions of worlds, but "three" aliens. Doh.

Well, for the moment, in my humble opinion, it doesn't make a big difference if there are 3 or 10 aliens, or more... They are dummies anyway and very little to get out of them apart some quizzes that maybe challenges a 5 year old kid.
There is clearly some content to add in this department. For 60 bucks I'm looking for a content like in GTA 5 or even Just Cause 2/3, getting much more, and guess: these games actually cost less, but then these are *real* big AAA games, NMS has to be that expensive I think because only a little group of devs partecipate in production and working much more pro person.

I think if you are still hung up on the £40 price tag, you are better off moving on.

But just in case you ever enjoyed the game at all (like even a bit?), Sean has said he wants to keep working on NMS for the rest of his career if possible. So in that context (and the context of keeping upto date with the internal build updates) this is not a finished game yet. There is more to come. What we don't know or when exactly, but they are still working on the game.

However repeating this same stuff over and over is beyong tiresome, so i would advise anyone like birdbathscuba to simply shelve the game and find another game to play. If this game only causes you angst and anger it will be much healther for you long-term to just put it down and play something esle. Maybe when you check back in six months there will be more updates and content to satisfy you?

Free and $5 products, have ai like NMS, the 3 types of aliens within this game, are all predictable. I just turned in 5 korvax cubes, before writing here and the tech gift from that korvax npc for ea cube, was the exact same tech advance. All 'new', according to misleading dialogue. Same reward. No random rolls on loot tables, this is small fry game testing, stuff. That was missed, or lied about. Bleh. I cannot, imagine a worser investment, around my neighborhood, sixty bucks buys more.
