Will there be lan without gog galaxy, or will it be Galaxy only multiplayer? I would definitely like to know this. Also the time this will come out on gog.

Be aware that, at least as currently implemented on Steam, multiplayer seems to be the default condition. Which is fine as long as you're okay with some random griefer dropping by with +1000x mining lasers and photon cannons.

Well, the GOG page of No Man's Sky states that it will be Galaxy only.
I've added a suggestion on the zendesk of NMS that they should look at this forum once in a while. We'll see what comes of it.
