I cannot get it to work.

Hi Bruce, 1.08 was rolled into other patches for us on GOG for some reason. In the same way our GOG v1.09 patch is not exactly the same as the one Steam users got. We have different platforms on PC currently so the patch situation can be a bit confusing. I would keep the main website in mind:

In terms of the GOG version all you need is:

No Man's Sky (Part 1 of 2) 1.07 (GOG-6) 29MB
No Man's Sky (Part 2 of 2) 1.07 (GOG-6) 2.4GB

Patch 1.09 6MB

The first part is the full game patched upto version 1.07 then you run the 1.09 patch over that to get the latest version. It seems to be working fine for most people.
