jonesr65: If you are playing NWN2 get this one from the neverwinter vault. https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/other/tool/nwn2-character-editor It's Java based not only can you edit the characters stats, remove levels, you can edit their inventory too
Thanks for this, I don't know how I missed it.
It looks a lot more user friendly than a GFF Editor.

Edit: Turns out I already had it, and it works well.
I must have downloaded it at a time when I was doing other things, and then forgot about it.

Your welcome
Hi everyone,

I have an issue with the editing of my character in NWN EE that I can't seem to find a solution for, so I thought I might ask here.

I have a level 10 Cleric that I realised I have assigned one wrong domain for. Instead of Magic and Sun I want to change the domains to Magic and Air.

Using Lento's editor it was quite easy to switch Sun for Air, however, the Air domain specific spells Call lightning och Chain lightning does not become available.

I have tried to set the characters XP to 0 and then give them all back again, building the character up level by level, but that did not make the spells available.

I also tried using the Consol cheat code dm_allspells, first adding all spells and then removing them, to see if the lightning spells would remain, which they didn't.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

olnorton: Leto 1.69

You need to edit your player in the xxxxxx.sav
Open your saved game. (where you edited your player.bic)
At the bottom where it says "Files of type" select "From List in file"
Select xxxxxx.sav
scroll to the bottom of the list & select Module IFO
Then edit your player or companion in the Mod_PlayerList.
Then Save As Save as type: Into List from file
select xxxxx.sav & confirm overwrite.
Module IFO/player name
OK

Guktian: I get an error when i try this.
"Out of memory while expanding memory stream".
sorry for necroposting.
I have the same problem. But surprisingly, this functioned for me before. Now I'm in the third chapter and it stopped functioning. I double-checked with my saves from the first and second chapters and it works there. I have a guess that it has something to do with the amount of information about the character and the things that he owns. Due to the large amount of information, Leto does not understand how to work with this and gives an error about memory. Any ideas on how to fix this?

No I don't.
As I said above, I have never got that message, and I don't have a save from late in the OC to try it on.
Is the message when you are trying to save the changes?

yep, only when I'm trying to save the changes.
It's really strange. But I have no idea how to get around this problem. I tried to remove all the things from the character and put them out of the bag, but if I understand correctly, then all things are still tracked by Leto logs.
Is it possible to change the character in the .bic file (and save this character) and start the fourth module separately with this saved character?

I'm pretty certain you can't do that.
If you want to post your saved game to Dropbox or something, I'll see if I get that message when trying to alter it.

I finally found the cause of the problem. That was my fault. I tried to modify the save from the russian version of the game. I installed the english version and created a new save that I was able to modify.
Excuse for troubling.
