So, when I try to start NWN, it crashes to desktop with an error message. Looks like the only way around this is to start in "Windows XP SP2" compatibility mode.

Also: Why is it that you have to download the "Kingmaker" set of 3 premium modules separately, uninstall the ones that are actually packed into the normal installation, and reinstall from the separate installation? I think I have them working now but it was kinda annoying to have to jump through all the hoops.

Also also... There were three other full premium modules (Wyvern Crown, Infinite Dungeons, Pirates of the Sword Coast) and one other that was intended as premium but left incomplete, later completed and released as free, "Darkness over Daggerford". Is there a working method for allowing these to be played, without needing the BioWare authenticator which is apparently no longer extant?

I ask, because they all seem to be available as DLC for "Neverwinter Nights: Extended Edition"...

1: This is normal, with old games that were written for earlier Windows. That is what compatibility mode exists for.

2: There shouldn't be any need to uninstall and reinstall Kingmaker etc. They normally work fine from the initial installation.

3: There is a workaround for this made by Taro. It's here:- https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/other/tool/premium-module-offline-authenticator-generator
