So I'm trying to run a game on NWN2 with my buddies. What do I need to do in order for my game to show up on the server list?

You'll need an add-on.

Check: http://www.nwnlist.com/

Scroll to the bottom and follow the instructions (which is a link and a statement to follow the instructions:))

P.s. or just send them your io address and they can connect to you with that.
