I arrived at the inn, introduced myself to my uncle, and then tried to leave with my party. My companions are stuck in the inn! I have tried all the informal ways to get around a bug that I know of: reloads from different points, saving at different points, travelling away from the city, etc., no joy. I also did a google search for my problem and found two other people who have reported it, one of whom was able to solve by revisiting the docks.

Is there a way to fix this bug more directly via console commands or other software? I kind of hate to give up. We were just starting to fight well together.

If you've enabled the console, try using this command "rs kr_roster_edit" That opens up the party management window that allows you to add and remove companions essentially from anywhere in the game. If your party members are still stuck in the Sunken Flagon, try removing them using that command, then adding them back in while you're in the Docks.
