After playing NWN 1 I decided to upgrade. I bought the Extended Edition with the Diamond Edition. On a whim, I transferred my NWN game save and character to the Diamond edition with no problems. However, I could not find the save game or vault folders in the Extended Edition. I started a game and saved it to create the save game folder but to no avail. Am I overlooking something?

If you mean the enhanced edition, I believe they are in %USERPROFILE% \ Documents \Neverwinter Nights - Enhanced Edition\save\

I found the saves under OneDrive. The local vault is now : C:\GOG Games\Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition\data\lcv if anyone else is looking.

You want to be careful redirecting your Documents folder to OneDrive.
I causes problems with some mods that are denied access.
NWN2 can't even save your game, if your documents folder is on OneDrive

That makes sense. I installed the games using the defaults, not sure why it went to OneDrive. I'll probably download a mod later to test. This is the Enhanced Edition if it makes a difference.

The game didn't send it to OneDrive, It sent it to %USERPROFILE% \ Documents.
But your documents folder has been set to OneDrive.
The Enhanced Edition may not have a problem with it, as it's relatively new, but some older games from the Vista to Win 7 era do.
