Just reinstalled NWN diamond and started it up, no problems, all is good....then i try and change maps. The unloading module/loading screens are taking forever, like around 5 minutes. it's not my pc, hell this game is ancient and my rig is more than capable of running it, and in the past the load times have been just fine, so what gives?

Did you try to disable your antivirus software? Maybe it blocks the game from loading faster.

Any solution yet?

Running windows 10 Pro, normal spinning HD, no SSD, on a relatively okay laptop (core I 7, 16G ram, internal graphics) - unpacking modules is almost instant, loading individual "rooms" takes forever - so long the game is not playable. Tried compatibility mode, playing offline, reloading the game, rebooting, etc. - I'd really like to see a solution, so if nobody knows anything, maybe someone can tell me how to issue a proper bug report to Gog?

Happens to me too. Game starts fine, but every time I change areas, it is at least 5 min to load. I played this from disk when it first came out and it worked fine on my computer from 5 computers ago.. Played around with video settings but that did not do a thing.

I have the same problem. I played this through on older hardware. Now, I just wanted to try again over the holidays and the load times are ridiculous. My specs are not great with this laptop, but it is not a spec issue, there is some incombatibility or something happening. NWN version 1.69.8109. Machine: i5 3210M 6GB RAM, SSD. Windows 10 19042.1415
