Bought it on Steam as soon as it released, was really hopeful they'd have fixed the broken mouse input the original game suffers from on modern hardware, and was also hoping they might add widescreen support.

Nope. Nothing, it's a barebones re-release done with seemingly zero care. Mouse input still doesn't work at all other than in the menus, it won't register any movement in-game, and even though you can select 16:9 resolutions, it only displays in 4:3.

There does exist an obsure patched EXE on the internet that you can find here. I'm planning on making a less-piratey version for people to patch their existing installs with.

I finaly send message to support. If they won't fix it I will just return game.
I asked for a refund anyway, the game has major performance (the menu is a slideshow in terms of FPS) and technical issues (controls bug out, mouselook doesn't work). And this is just what I found in about 5 minutes of gameplay, there might be even more issues yet to be discovered.
If the game has no fixes and the money doesn't go to anyone who actually worked on this game, either as an original developer or as someone dedicated to make sure the game is running properly on a modern OS, who exactly are we paying by buying this game and what are we paying them for?

Let's hope Nightdive Studios eventually remasters this.
