On my win10 computer, I noticed the graphics card was making a squealing noise while playing Myst5.
I originally thought it was coming from the speakers, but it was coming from the graphics card itself (NVidia GeForce GTX 960).
This never happens with any other game. After a bit of googling, I learnt in some old games the cards have no upper limit on FPS so they go wild rendering at crazy speeds like 3000 fps. Myst5 is one of those games. This will not hurt your card or even make it overheat, it's just makes a really annoying noise. OK, on to the solution.
The solution is simple. Just tick V-Sync in the video options and the problem will go away.
