Hello,

I noticed other people on other Riven forum posts talking about all of the crashes that are occurring when trying to save or open a save in Riven. This is happening t o me as well, and I have tried all methods to get it to work. I am running on XP and have tried this with different compatibilities with Win2000, 95, and 98 to no avail. However, the game runs almost perfectly and no problems have come up since starting. If anyone knows how to fix this issue, it would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I'm nio help but would just like to reiterate that I'm experiencing the same problem in Windows Vista.
Clickin on Save, Save As and Open in the File menu of the game just causes the game to close completely with no progress saved at all. Restarting the game, I can't skip the opening scenes and I can't locate my previous games. Highly frustrating.
I've noticed that other posters to the forum have saved Riven in a different directory, but I really have no idea how to do that.
Any solutions to this gratefully received, as I've been waiting literally years to play this game.
