I wonder if GoG team update their package with latest ScummVM (and DVD-version of Riven, of course)
thomq: If GOG gets Riven working on macOS, then that'll be my next purchase even if they double the price! I loved that game, but I'm without any interest in going through the computer engineering efforts to make it work.
Either it opens and works, or I'm spending the time of my life doing something else. I'd rather not have to fiddle with trial/error just to get a game to work before having to do trial/error in the game itself to move through its story. The latter is fun for me, the former is work. Come to think of it that's how I make meals nowadays, straight from the package, little or no prep. I'm not a raw foodist, I just eat it raw because I'd rather have time for other experiences. Or maybe I'm lazy? Ha ha.
ScummVM has version for different OS, macOS included (but not daily build, i guess)
