I can't get realMyst to run on my Win7 x64 computer. At all. The graphics wig out, and I get like 2 FPS.
I tried running it in XP SP3 compatibility mode (and running as an admin on top of this).
I also tried downloading that codec pack which was suggested elsewhere on this forum.
And it still doesn't work. Help?

Did you try installing to Program Files rather than Program Files (x86)? That worked for me.

DustyStyx: Did you try installing to Program Files rather than Program Files (x86)? That worked for me.
Okay, I just tried that. Tried it on its own, and in conjunction with the other solutions. Still doesn't work.

Okay, I managed to solve the problem. Found the answer elsewhere on this forum, after another, more thorough, search.

I had the same problem,nothing seemed to work!
I have windows 7 -64 bit,XP settings didn't work for me either.
Finally I tried Windows NT 4.0 compatability (service pack 5)
Disable visual themes
Run as Administrator

In the Setup basic settings I used
Direct3D--NVIDIA Geforce GTx580 (direct 3D HAL)
resolution 1920x1080 32 bit
Texture High
Full screen Antialiasing

Expert Settings I used
Advanced Mapping
use Direct Sound 3D

So far it is working beautifully!!
Hope this will be helpful to other people
