I've been seeing a lot of games showing Windows 10 as required when it's not. Will this game require 10? For context, my internet provider is so insanely restrictive that upgrading to 10 is not viable, and the second best option in my area has completely identical plans.

Does it run with Win 7 Pro SP1 64-bit? Considering it makes use of DirectX 11, it should do so.

The new Myst can run on Windows 7 without any problem. However, you must add -dx11 to the shortcut.

In addition, you maybe must put the file "Api-ms-win-downlevel-kernel32-l2-1-0.dll" in the game folder (...\Myst\Myst\Binaries\Win64). You can get this file searching in your computer. It is possible that some program has this file in its own directory. I don't recommend you to dowload this file from untrusted web pages.

The DLL is in "C:\Windows\System32\CompatTel" on Windows 7.
